This juice is more like a veggie soup than a juice. I came up with this recipe whilst in the middle of my 10 day juice fast. And let me tell you, by day 5 you start doing crazy things!
Hubby and I were making the kids pizza for Sunday lunch and I was craving something savoury (as you can imagine!), so I made this:
2 Tomatoes
1 cheek of red capsium
1 Lebanese cucumber &/or broccoli stalk
1 celery rib
1 medium sized garlic clove
1/2 a mild chilli (adjust to how spicy you like it!)
1 handful of your greens of choice, (kale, cos, colards, rocket, parsley, English spinach etc.) I used cos lettuce and rocket.
Garnish with Himalayan salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Run it all through your juicer, pour into your favourite glass and add the Himalayan salt add freshly ground black pepper to taste. Enjoy!
