Chocolate Ganache

This would have to be one of my very first raw foodie delights that I made all those months ago. It’s rich and delicious and just perfect for a little treat….

Raw Chocolate Ganache!

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup rapadura
  • dash of almond milk or water as needed

Pop all the ingredients into your food processor or high speed blender and blitz until smooth and creamy. You will need to scrape down the sides of your processor or use the tamper in the blender and add splashes of almond milk or water as you go to get the desired consistency. It should come out thick so it clings to you finger or spoon and it should be the consistency of Nutella (not that I know what that is lol! 😉 ) Add more sweetener or cacao to suit your taste. I always end up making final adjustments to it as the flavour, size and ripeness of the avocado varies each time.

Spread on anything! Dip fresh fruit in it or just eat it off the spoon…..and indulge without the guilt 😀

(Apologies for the poor photo, I nearly ate it all before I remembered I needed to take a photo! This was my last spoonful lol eeek! I will take a better one soon, I promise! x)
